I have a small Vizio in my bedroom and have not had any problems at all. My big TV is a Sony, and I can’t even guess how old it is and never any problems with that one either.

i have heard good and bad about them, they are made in China which means repair parts are not easy to come by and i have heard their customer service is not good. in my opinion, i would stick with a major brand name like Panasonic, JVC, Toshiba, or Sanyo which is made by Panasonic.

Brand new at Crutchfield is $ 900. A “refurbished” one on Amazon is $ 700.

So if you have seen this TV in action and it looks great and works great for you, then it’s a great deal at $ 400. Be sure and get a demonstration to insure it meets your needs before you fork over the dough!

I have a 32 ” Vizio LCD HDTV, and I bought it six years ago.It is a great television. The only thing is with the Saints losing right now , I dont like such a clear picture right now.

Does it still have any warranty left on it? You can get a 42″ 720p Plasma for like $ 700 (or a bit less). So this is used, I”m looking at no more than $ 300, if it has some warranty left. If its out of warranty, I don’t care if it is Samsung, I don’t know how well treated it was. So I’m dropping even more to like $ 250.

put in a dvd with a thx optimizer and set your tv with that . or call a tech to set it up professionally.

To be honest it does not matter. When dealing with a tv that is 34 inch or smaller, you cannot see a difference in 1080p or 720p. This screen image is too small to see the difference so it does not matter. Tvs that are bigger than 36 inch you might want to choose 1080p. Any Tv above 50 inch you will want 1080p or 1080i. Their is too big of a space for 720p to work on bigger tvs because of the bigger size for pixels and image. But to answer your question, 1080p or 720p does not matter on a smaller size tv under 34inches.
