Amazon offers 2M (6.5ft) Velocity HDMI Digital Video Cable (Blue) for $ 9.95 and Tripp Lite A102-02M Digital Optical Audio Cable, 2x Toslink – 2M (6ft) for $ 5.78. Should I purchase both? Any additional ones?

Those two cables work well for the HDTV, also suggest FRYS to be a store where you can consider shopping. If your in no rush just wait for it to go on sell, usually very often. Do buy the digital cable it is great for gaming if you have a PS3 system; Xbox360 etc. As for the audio cable if you have a home entertainment system (nice speakers) you can consider hooking it up or else the speakers in the TV is good enough. hope this info helps.

NO not Vizio, very off brand company. And picture looks terrible!!

Get a 46″ Sony Bravia, or better yet their XBR units.

Or Toshiba’s Regza series are nice also.
